The Stadium Experience:

The Bighouse in Ann Arbor, Michigan is where we find ourselves today. I didn't try to contain my excitement as we drove toward Michigan Stadium. I've complained about parking being expensive before, but OUTRAGEOUS is the word I must use here. It was $50 to park across from the stadium. I know Michigan alumni have great jobs and a ton of money, but ouch! I found a spot to park a short distance from the stadium at someone's house for $25. Here's a tip - get there early and park near the front, otherwise your freedom to leave is severely restricted - 5. Fanfare was super. We strolled around campus and caught the band's pre-game concert. Them marched along with the band to the stadium and gave a mini-performance on the steps. The Victors never sounded so sweet. Sigh. Fanfare was great - 8. We then piled itno our seats to watch the destruction of CMU. My wife and I rocked at EVERY first down, every score, and every defensive play. Views from the stadium? Uh, no. Michigan Stadium is too far away to appreciate the campus - 5. Concessions were just as expensive as parking - 4. Michigan Stadium is one hell of a great time. You just have to make sure that your wallet is full and fat to nab souvenirs, food, and tickets. Is the Bighouse worth a trip? Abso-effin-lutely! - 9. My Alma Mater receives a 31, because I'm a cheap ass! lol! Next week, back to where it all started at Rutgers.
